A Decluttering Journey

What a difference a year makes! This time last year in Jan 2019, I was suffering from mild depression having experienced what some might call an empty nest syndrome. My first born had gone to university and despite having two other children at home, I was missing her so much that I felt unable to enjoy life in general. Fast forward a year later and 1st of Jan 2020 sees me decluttering and sweating the small stuff like stationery cupboards and coin collections. I love organisation and enjoy beautifying my surroundings. If you are a home organiser or enjoy beauty and order subscribe to my blog and join me on my journey of discovery in this new decade!

A BIT ABOUT ME

My Journey
I have always had a love for organisation and administration. Hence the career choice I suppose. Alongside the blog, I have started a catalogue of my worldly possessions. It fascinates me when I learn about the art of cataloguing and I will put it in practice for my decluttering journey. I might imagine that my grand children in years to come will enjoy learning about how we lived in the 21st century. Similar to how my husband enjoys reading the diaries of his great grandfather from during the time of the British Raj.

I am an accountant and mother of three beautiful girls, ages 20, 17 and 7. We live in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, UK  though I was born in Singapore.
